Gneuss celebrates 40th anniversary and presents recycling technologies
Gneuss, a family-owned company in Germany, held a two-day technology event on November 7-8 to celebrate its 40th anniversary and present its new products and innovative recycling technologies.
In the recently built 2,700m2 production hall, CEO brothers Dr Stephen Gneuss and Daniel Gneuss gave an introduction to the technological innovations, including extrusion systems MRS, MRSpure and MDS.

The department heads from the Fiber & Pellets, Film & Sheet and R&D divisions also provided insights into new OMNI recycling technologies, including OMNImax and OMNIboost.
In Gneuss Technical Center 1 at the main site, the focus was on processing PET and PS regrind into food-grade thermoforming sheet on an OMNI max recycling line.
The trials in Technical Center 2, concentrated on the regranulation of PET fibers using OMNIboost recycling system and the closed-loop recycling of HDPE bottle caps with the MRSpure extruder.
A highlight on the evening of the first day was a gala dinner in the historic Kaiserpalais, to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary. Detlef Gneuss, the company founder, not only looked back on the past of Gneuss, but also gave an outlook on the coming years.

The event demonstrated the innovative strength and technological expertise of the East Westphalian company. A look into the future also promises further pioneering progress in the field of recycling and sustainable production processes.
