Lightweight closures
With SACMI’s Rigid Packaging Laboratory, the company offers comprehensive advice on cap and neck development.
SACMI will showcase the market’s widest range – the new 26/22mm lightweight caps. In addition, multi-purpose caps AB26CSDT-5 (GME 30.40) and AB26CSD12 (GME30.41), which are the lightest on market with 35% less plastic, with high performance required for high carbonation, will also be presented at Plastivision India.
Range for still water has also been improved, with the ultra-light (1g) and premium-look AB26W15, offering an additional 10% material saving.
Integrated preforms
SACMI also offers preform segment with the IPS. Its integrated neck-cap system approach characterizes the end products.
On GME 30.40 and 30.41, with standard preform, offers special “light” solution for water, saving over 0.7g of PET per preform.
There is also a solution designed for hot-fill, weighing 0.15-0.2g more than standard preform, which offers significant savings compared to the conventional reinforced PCO1881.
Containers with wide range of materials
Apart from solutions for caps and preforms, SACMI brings CBF technology to the market. This technology is a versatile, high-performance alternative for the production of containers in all types of resins, such as PS, PE and PET. These fit for exclusive solutions for pharmaceutical and dairy applications.
All SACMI’s solutions presented at Plastivision India are already on the market and immediately available for use in industry. The SACMI Lab is also developing ad hoc solutions to all kinds of additional production requirements.
