How to Turn PET / rPET Preforms Quality Control Into a Profitable Advantage

Apr 28, 2021

Unfortunately, the international disruption caused by the SARS-COV-2 pandemic has stopped the NPE fair in Orlando in its tracks. But not SACMI, which on 20 May 2021 at 11 am EDT will host "How to turn PET/rPET Preform Quality Control into a Profitable Advantage”, an event co-organized with the international magazine Beverage Industry.

This meeting aims to strengthen partnerships with customers by taking a close look at solutions - of increasing importance within the industry - that ensure preform quality where high percentages of rPET are used.

The webinar will focus on the question “How can we transform preform PET/rPET quality control into a profitable advantage?” During the event, a team of SACMI technicians and experts will explore new SACMI ready-to-market solutions that perform efficient, effective rPET processing, a topic that puts the spotlight on the ‘computer vision’ concept and, consequently, quality control along the entire production line. Not just to prevent product defects but - above all - to proactively govern the process by preventing malfunctions and monitoring KPIs. This, then, is cutting-edge computer vision as SACMI sees it: adding value to the entire machine range, especially on IPS (injection preform system) series presses.

A value proposition that, alongside automation and best available technology, also supplies far-reaching assistance to all markets. More specifically, SACMI’s US branches ensure customers can count on a team of highly qualified technicians who provide service across all the Group businesses.
