KRAIBURG TPE expands recycled material portfolio with wide adhesion options
KRAIBURG TPE launched its latest product line – an expansion of its THERMOPLAST R compounds with high percentage of recycled materials and a variety of adhesion properties.

The new product line includes a range of thermoplastic elastomers with recycled content and adhesion properties.
This new product line, now available in the market, focuses on the combination of properties for single, two-component or multicomponent parts with high percentage of recycled material of up to 79%.
The new high-performance compounds are specially tailored to meet the requirements of different industries and markets and allow adhesion to PA, PC/ABS or PP.
The new thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) include:
Recycling Content TPE with adhesion to PA: It is the world’s first TPE with PCR and PIR materials of 43-60%, depending on the hardness ranging from 40-90 Shore A. It can be used for a wide range of applications for two-component parts with adhesion to PA.
Recycling Content TPE with adhesion to PC and ABS: The material is made of 42%-54% PIR and PCR contents. It fits a list of multicomponent parts that require adhesion to ABS and PC or other technical thermoplastics. Its harnesses are available in 40-70 Shore A.
Second-generation Universal PCR TPE: The grade is available with recycled materials of up to 79%. It is suitable for applications that require adhesion to PP. Its hardness range is 30-90 Shore A.
In addition, the compounds provide reliable quality and can be colored. All new TPEs are available in natural colors and can be colored in various ways for maximum flexibility in design.
The new compounds are intended for applications in industrial market segment such as power tools, E&E, consumer segment such as household, and sports and leisure.
