ENGEL to build new plant in Mexico, expanding production globally
Injection molding solutions provider ENGEL will build a new multi-faceted facility in Mexico in order to expand its production footprint, aligning with the company’s philosophy “Close to the customer”.
The company’s proven concept of decentralization has been a key driver of its success in the global market. The expansion in Mexico ensures adaptability to dynamic market conditions.
The 10th production facility will continue ENGEL’s commitment to self-reliance. With expertise in building components in-house, from machining centers to final assembly, the company aims to minimize the impact of external factors on its operation by maintaining a robust supply chain and ensuring uninterrupted delivery of products and services.
Dr Stefan Engleder, the CEO of the ENGEL Group, pointed out that the location of production facility in Mexico had not yet been finalized at the moment.

The new facility in Mexico also complements the market presence of the well-established North American subsidiary.
“We are confident that customers in the United States of America, Mexico, and South America will all benefit from the capacity and expertise delivered by this expansion,” stated Vanessa Malena, President of ENGEL North America.
In addition, ENGEL has recently added more capacity at the US headquarters in York, Pennsylvania, concentrating on their custom automation center and renovating their office and technology center in Corona, California.
